Museum reception celebrates the club's unmatched FIFA World Cup legacy while inspiring a new generation through education and community engagement

The Cosmos returned to USL Cup action on Saturday night in front of 6,231 spectators in Portland, Maine as they faced Hearts of Pine. With the Cosmos already eliminated from advancement in the competition, they put forth a solid performance against a Hearts of Pine team that needed a lopsided result in hopes of advancing in the Cup. The Cosmos would settle for a 1-1 draw before going to a penalty kick shoot out in which HOP would earn the additional point.

The Cosmos, looking to snap a seven match losing streak in league play, faced an FC Naples squad which was also looking to snap a five match losing streak. In a match played in front of a lively 1,501 spectators, the Cosmos would get a debut goal by new signing Chevone Marsh to record and important 1-0 victory.

He has been training with the club since mid May, and the Cosmos are waiting for final league approval to announce the signing. Marsh appeared in the friendly match against Santos Laguna, and provided a constant threat throughout the match.

This Saturday, the Cosmos look to break a three-match losing streak as they face @uslchampionship side Hartford Athletic in a 2026 USL Cup match at Hinchliffe Stadium. This match will also be the 1st Edition of this local🗽tri-state derby.
