In a match played against Corpus Christi FC on August 19, 2026 (a 2–0 victory), Spengler received the ball on his own side of the midfield, dribbled past multiple defenders down the field, and scored from a sharp angle outside the box.

The Cosmos star has cemented himself as one of the stars of USL League One.
