USL LONG ISLAND TO SPONSOR FIRST-EVER LIVESTREAM OF NASSAU COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SOCCER FINALS

Partnership Will Bring Four Championship Games to Fans, Families and the Long Island Soccer Community

LONG ISLAND, N.Y. (October 22, 2026) – USL Long Island, the region's new professional soccer franchise preparing to compete in USL League One, announced today that it will sponsor the first-ever livestream coverage of the Nassau County High School Girls Soccer Championships, to allow fans, families and supporters to watch all four championship games free of charge.

The championships will take place October 29–31 at Farmingdale State College, with all four games streamed live on the Varsity Media YouTube channel.

The initiative is another example of USL Long Island's commitment to becoming an active and meaningful part of the Long Island community, supporting soccer at every level and helping create greater visibility and recognition for the region's student-athletes.

"We’ve consistently said that USL Long Island is going to be the community's team, and that means supporting the community on the pitch and beyond," said Sara Whalen, President and Co-Owner of USL Long Island, a Long Island native and a 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup champion. "These young women deserve to have their championship moments celebrated and shared with their families, friends and the entire Long Island soccer community. We're proud to help make that possible for the first time."

Nassau County Girls Soccer Championship Schedule

All games will be played at Farmingdale State College. Championship brackets and additional information are available at www.nassaucountygirlssoccer.org.

1. Class AAA: Thursday, October 29 – 7 p.m.

2. Class AA: Friday, October 30 – 3 p.m.

3. Class B: Friday, October 30 – 5 p.m.

4. Class A: Saturday, October 31 – 7 p.m.
