LaValle Stadium, Stony Brook, NY

American Soccer Club New York will be hosting the New York Cosmos on June 24, 2026 in an exhibition match. The match will be played at 7pm at LaValle Stadium on the campus of Stony Brook University.
The match between the two sides is part of the multi-year collaboration agreement that the clubs signed in late 2025. American Soccer Club New York (ASC NY), known as the Fighting Tomcats, signed the agreement with Cosmos to identify and develop elite players within the ASC NY system. Selected players will be provided opportunities to train with the Cosmos’ USL Leaque One squad, and to be evaluated by Cosmos coaches. This agreement has already paid dividends for both sides, as former ASC NY player Will Noecker was recommended to Cosmos and was signed to a first team contract by the USL League One side last month.
This match will be the first of an annual Long Island exhibition match between both sides. It will also bring the Cosmos back to an area that saw them achieve great success from 2013-2016, and allow for many of the Cosmos supporters from the Long Island area to get an up and close look at the squad.
