The 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 32 bracket is officially finalized, following the conclusion of the group stage. For the first time in history, the tournament's expansion to 48 teams introduces this direct single-elimination knockout stage. It features the top two teams from each of the 12 groups alongside the eight best third-place finishers.

The bracket splits the field into two halves, paving clear potential paths toward the final on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey:

  • Left Bracket Highlight: A highly competitive quadrant features heavyweights Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, and the United States. If they win their respective opening matches, France and Germany are on a collision course to meet early in the Round of 16.

  • Right Bracket Highlight: Defending champion Argentina anchors the opposing side of the bracket alongside Brazil, England, Colombia, and host Mexico. On paper Argentina appears to have a clear path to the semi-finals, with the toughest opponent they could face in the quater-final being Colombia.

Looking ar the two brackets the left braket appears more competetive; some top teams will face elimination early on, while on the right bracket teams not considered among the best will progess into the quarter-final stage.
